HSM Summer Camp 2024

June 29th-July 3rd // Biola University, La Mirada CA

Frequently Asked Questions:

When does registration open?

Registration for HSM Summer Camp 2024 opens January 26th!

How much does camp cost?

The student cost for camp this year is $529 + a $15.87 credit card processing fee. Beginning January 26th, we will offer a 5 month payment plan that will break down the registration fee and credit card processing fee into 5 payments of $108.97.

All leaders get to come to camp for free!

Can my son/daughter request to be in a cabin with specific friends and/or leaders?

Yes! There is space on the registration form for friend and leader requests. We will do our very best to assure each student gets at least one of their requests.

Who are the adult leaders? Can parents come as leaders?

Our leaders are all adult volunteers who have gone through the extensive Saddleback Student Ministries volunteer onboarding process, which includes an FBI background check, fingerprinting, staff interview, orientation, and training. Anyone interested in coming as a leader can contact Brittany at brittanyh@saddleback.com.

What is the student to adult leader ratio?

There will be approximately one adult leader for every six students at camp. Each cabin/cohort will have two adult leaders.

How does transportation to/from camp work?

We will be taking charter busses to/from camp. The busses will depart from and return to Saddleback Church Lake Forest. Some campuses will be meeting us at Biola. Your campus SSM pastor will give you more information when we get closer to July.

My son/daughter has dietary restrictions – who do I contact about that?

We will do everything we can to accommodate dietary restrictions however, we always recommend bringing extra snacks! In your confirmation email there will be a link for food allergies and intolerances that gets sent straight to Biola.

What if my son/daughter gets homesick while at camp?

It happens! Our leaders and support staff will do our best to help your son/daughter get through their homesickness and will keep you in the loop when necessary. If, however, they are not able to bounce back after 24 hours, we will call you to come pick them up.

I’m not sure if I can afford the cost for camp – what are my options?

We don’t want finances to stand in the way of your son/daughter coming to camp! We have payment plans and scholarships available based upon need. Apply by clicking the button bellow:
